Client

Henricksen

The Henricksen showroom transformed an 8,587 SF empty shell into a luxurious commercial furniture display space, housed within a mass timber building. This innovative build-out harmonized the inherent beauty of exposed timber with the showroom’s high-end aesthetic, ensuring the wood’s presence enhanced rather than overshadowed the furniture.
Addressing acoustic challenges, the design included sound-absorbing elements like acoustic clouds and soft floor materials to create a welcoming atmosphere. Modern amenities such as integrated technology, lighting, and HVAC systems were seamlessly incorporated, maintaining the architectural integrity while promoting energy efficiency.
Strategic lighting placement accentuated the furniture and the timber’s allure, contributing to a well-lit, inviting environment. The layout was meticulously planned to form attractive vignettes against the natural timber backdrop, facilitating an engaging customer experience.
Sustainability was a cornerstone of the project, with STG Design selecting eco-friendly materials that aligned with the mass timber ethos, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The result is a sustainable, inviting space that not only showcases the furniture to its best advantage but also exemplifies the brand’s image and values.
