STG Design worked in conjunction with design architect Koning Eizenberg and Gyroscope, Inc., museum planners, to design and construct the new Thinkery (formerly Austin Children’s Museum). Previously downtown, the new museum location is at the Mueller Airport Redevelopment. The program is based on “creative problem solving” and includes 12,500 sf of exhibits and 2,500 sf of outdoor space for an audience of ages 0-11. The Museum has received a LEED Silver certification.
